Español de México Forest fires are one of the great problems of the 21st century. The high temperatures, the lack of rain and the hand of man, favor this sad phenomenon, which leaves behind a desolate landscape and even ends, eventually, with human lives.
To remember the victims of forest fires and raise awareness of this problem, the International Day of the Forest Fire Fighter is commemorated every May 4.
